How much does the service cost?
This depends on which partner you enroll through to access the service. Typically the price runs around $9.95 a month.
Will my insurance reimburse for this service?
Consult with your insurance provider. Some insurers will reimburse their insured policy holders, and at the very least the cost will be added towards exceeding your yearly deductible.
Can I manage more than one condition with the program?
Yes. We currently help you manage one to ten conditions with one subscription.
Can my physician enroll in the program?
Yes. All medical providers can subscribe to MyPSTLog for complete access to your account information.
Note: Each patient has to grant access to their account for provider/physician/home health agent etc., to get access. This is done through the “Add a Provider” tab once you are logged in to your patient account. MyPSTLog is a Personal Health Record (PHR) and not designated as an Electronic Health Record or Electronic Medical Record (HER/EMR) service.
How are reports sent to my physician?
MyPSTLog has an email and fax service, built into the system, for sending information to your provider. We suggest that patients consult their physician to learn how they would like to receive their reports.
If your physician is a subscriber to MyPSTLog, they can select how your reports are sent to their office, by fax or email and how often.
Can my physician view my testing results?
Yes, if your physician is enrolled as a subscriber they will have access as long as you have entered their name in the “Add a Provider” process.
If your physician is not a subscriber, they will only see the information you decide to send using the MyPSTLog fax or email service, or by providing a printed copy of the report.
Is my physician able to email or fax me using the program?
Yes, if your physician is a subscriber to MyPSTLog.
How long are records kept in the program?
For as long as you remain a subscriber, plus 6 years.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
If you decide to cancel your subscription, your account information will remain secure, untouched and stored for 6 years. You may reinstate your active use of the program by re-subscribing through one of Amazons Partners or Medixalls health platform.
Can my physician use my log-in information to access my account?
This is up to you. We advise against sharing your password with anyone other than family members and physician/providers.
Remember, you also can change your password at the “Change Password” tab in MyPSTLog at any time.
I’ve lost my password, how do I reset it?
Go to the MyPSTLog sign in page for your account, click the link that says, “Forgot Password”. You will be asked to enter your email address in order to identify yourself, then press enter. Go to your email in-box to retrieve a message from MyPSTLog. Inside that message click on the link to reset your password.
Can my physician print my reports so I don’t need to bring copies to my next office visit?
Yes, if they are a subscriber.
